Musician and or Architect

I was reading a post on Archinect.com (http://archinect.com/blog/article/21453796/musician-and-or-architect)
and came about an architect/musician who uses the process of composing music to influence architecture, Iannis Xenakis. Check out some of his diagrams :)

  1. Wow!! these are really interesting diagrams. I was just looking to see if he had built works and I see there is a direct correlation. I wonder how the students are going to translate there semi 2-dimensional grids drawings into a 3d construction (physical or digital)?

  2. This is a great find. It eill help talk about the function of grids and the importance of descriptive notation. It also makes me feel like I am not crazy!
